Ingredients
- 1 pound sweet sausage cut up
- 2 Tbsp cooking oil
- 1 small sweet onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 15oz. cans cannellini beans, drained
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 cups kale, chopped
Instructions
- Cut sausage into medallions and cook in skillet over medium heat until desired doneness
- Drain excess greese from skillet and set sausage aside.
- Add onions and garlic and sauté until tender
- Add the beans, including the liquid and all remaining ingredients except the kale
- Allow to simmer for 5 minutes
- Add chopped kale
