Green Chicken Soup (Pesto)

Ingredients

  • 4 cups low sodium chicken broth
  • 2 cups cooked chicken (cubed or shredded)
  • 2 cups kale freshly chopped
  • ½ cup pesto (homemade or from a jar)
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoonground pepper

Instructions

  1. 1. In large pot, heat chicken broth over medium heat
  2. 2. Add cooked chicken allow to simmer for 20 minutes
  3. 3. Add kale and pesto
  4. 4. Simmer additional 30 minutes
